Here's a recent photo. I bought my first "Dummies" book, "Photography for Dummies", and it actually has some nice tips. Now I understand a bit more about when to use what settings. Below, I used the zoom lens, which doesn't make the front come at you like the normal lens does. I don't think it's better or worse, just different.
It was "Prelude vs. Deer", and the Deer won. After hitting my car (I slammed on the brakes and was stopped
just as it hit), the deer bounded OVER the car, and hopped away. You can see tufts of brown hair caught in the
broken glass below, as well as two giant hoofprints in the window. I'm really glad that the deer didn't fall through!

This was taken with my new digital camera. The only cosmetic change (since the earlier pics) is the clear side markers in the front.
