Today we adopted Rusty. He's two years old and came to us from West Kentucky Rescue in Murray Kentucky. He weighs 54 lbs. but is taller than any other dog we've had.
His previous owner died and his wife could not care for Rusty (nee Krimpet) and gave him up for adoption.
Rusty is a sweet, somewhat shy dog. He seems to have bonded with with us and follows whichever of us leaves the room first.
Our friend Cheryl came over this evening and brought Chinese food for dinner. She also brought a toy for Rusty. At first, Rusty was a little fearful of Cheryl but soon warmed up to her.
