Our dog Reese, died in January. We were not going to get another dog, but sometime around the end of March I decided I needed a dog in my life.
I felt the Standard Poodles in our life (there were 4 of them prior to Rusty) had given us so much joy and glad-ness that it was time to give something back to the breed. Our friends JD & Andrea helped us find a poodle rescue organization and in May we found Rusty. We made an application and were checked out - home visit and all and on May 15, 2004 we drove to Western Kentucky to pick up Rusty.
